We bought the tandem when I retired in late 2010 and joined the CTC in 2011. We also have another tandem for gravel road riding and some very very easy and mellow off-road in the foothills. We have toured in 14 countries on the tandem, most of which where fully-loaded self-supported (but with no camping).
